There are a number of aspects that make it difficult to keep a precise account of the number of LGBTQ2S youth are experiencing being homeless, including: the noninclusion of LGBTQ2S-related inquiries in PiT counts, poor training of team regarding how to appropriately and also sensitively ask LGBTQ2S youth concerns, the collection of trans persons under the label of \"sexual minority\" making it difficult to separate people' gender identities from their sex-related identifications, and other concerns concerning data synthesis as well as the safety and security of LGBTQ2S youth when gathering information.
