    RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - A Rio de Janeiro court has provided the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) 2 days to clarify why none of their players at the Copa America are putting on the No. 24 t-shirt, with the number usually related to homosexuals in the country.

    In Brazil's unlawful game of chance, the number 24 is linked to the deer, which has homosexual connotations in Brazil. Several Brazilian players in the past have refused to wear the number for their clubs.

    A judge asked the CBF to clarify whether the decision not to distribute a No. 24 t shirt was intentional, who inside the organisation is in charge of choosing the numbers, and also whether football's controling bodies had any type of standards on signing up player numbers.
