Mets placed Billy Bean into uniform to raise recognition of gay players in sport

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.-- In November, after Billy Bean attends to an area of 30 general supervisors, bringing a message of incorporation for gay gamers in baseball, Mets GM Sandy Alderson approached him. He was the first.
