A gay young adult insurance claims he has been prohibited from going to a secondary school dance with a male date.
The teenager, an elderly at the Christian Brothers Secondary School, in Memphis, Tennessee, states authorities declined him permission to bring a male day to the homecoming dancing.
A statement on the all-boys college's website claims trainees can participate in on Saturday \"on their own, with various other CBHS pupils, or with a girl from another college\".
However, it includes: \"For logistical factors, boys from various other institutions may not attend.\"
He states he discussed attending with a male date from one more institution with an administrator in 2015 and was informed he would be able to.
But that main left over summertime as well as he declares other managers have because taken a difference stance.
He said: \"He pointed out a [gay] couple in Texas and claimed I was a great deal similar to this someone as well as stated that the guy's sweetheart killed him. It was a little harsh.\"
Lance states a school board talked about the opportunity of trainees bringing same-sex dates, yet apparently chosen against it, reports the Memphis Flyer.
He stated: \"I asked about it in a meeting [Tuesday] early morning, and also they said they really did not want men from our college getting into disagreements with people from various other institutions.
