Each has received a grant to ver sts of a project that amplifi Queer Joy, the opportuny for mentorg om Getty Imag photographers as well as opportuni to work wh and be platformed by GAY TIMES. GAY TIMES, SKITTLES®, Getty Imag and Queer Bra hope that this is a step towards igng the velopment of future queer talent, whilst thentilly and purposefully fillg the archiv of tomorrow.

The rearch I am workg on as part of my practice-based PhD at Ulster Universy revolv around how photography tersects wh homosexualy. Wh this theme md, I am workg on several projects that look at how the materialy of the photographic medium has changed the way which ntemporary homosexualy operat parison to the past, such as Grdr replacg cisg, or how the boundari between the private and the public photograph are beg ls fed through social media. Another body of work I plan to velop 2023 is a portra-based study on how gay men feel the spac that they hab.

Gay men may live a eer society today than the recent past, but is a world still firmly rooted heteronormative tradns. My new work seeks to explore the sense of tachment many gay men feel towards the physil spac they hab. Vcent Keh of MASCULAR Stud and Oliver Zke of Photomolekuel are pleased to announce the lnch of A Portra Isolatn, a project explorg emotnal and physil space the end of March 2020, as the COVID-19 global panmic grew spe and impact, gay men around the world were asked to subm self portras that reflected their experience of the ronavis lock-down.
