"I was brought up by a war generatn; they grew up when gay people were put jail. Beg homosexual was so unthkable that you jt wouldn't be gay.
"I was brought up thkg you'd be better ad than gay. I mt have known I was gay and was so unacceptable, " said the Obree's private life and his achievements on the bike have bed to make him one of cyclg's most enigmatic figur.
MOST CYCLISTS ARE GAY?
