I have a iend that's gay and he lik to hang out at LIGALY Bay Shore, they have like a dance/nightclub like thgy on Friday nights but I am not sure about bars. the olst and most well known gay bar on long island is the BUNKHOUSE sayville on ma street and s a real good time. The gay scene on Long Island has always been dismal.
