Homoseksüel ve heteroseksüel farkı nedir? Gay ne mek; gay sözcüğü hem erkek eşcselleri, hem kadın eşcselleri (lezbiyen) tanımlamak iç kullanılan ullararası bir ifa hale gelmiştir. Fakat ülkemiz, her nense, "gay" ndiğ yalnız erkek eşcseller anlaşılıyor ve kadın eşcsellere sace lezbiyen niyor.

Gay, eşcsel kişi (genellikle erkek). Aslen "neşeli, umursamaz" ve "nlı renkli, gösterişli" anlamlarına gelen "gay" tabiri 1960'lı yıllardan ibaren erkek eşcseller tarafından kendileri tanımlamak amacıyla kullanılmaya başlanmıştır.

İngilizce'ki gay kelim diğer (neşeli, umursamaz vs.. Türkiye gay kelimi erkek eşcseller iç, lezbiyen kelimi bayan eşcseller iç kullanılmaktadır. Eşcsellere verilen adlardan en çok kullanılanlardan biri yabancı bir diln aktarılmış olan homoseksüel kelimidir.

Türk Dil Kumu’nun Türkçe Sözlüğü’n homoseksüel karşılığı ise; csel istekleri kendi csn kimselerle yatıştırmak huyunda olan kimsedir. Homoseksüel ne mektir; Aynı csten olan kişilerle csel ilişki kurmayı ifa erk. Homoseksüel olan kadınsa kadınlarla, erkekse erkeklerle ilişkiye ilgilidir.

Eşcsel kadınlar iç lezbiyen, eşcsel erkekler iç gay kavramları da kullanılır.
