A few months ago, I went to the ‘Ze Bazaar’ ft anised by Gaysi, an onle space where the si-gay muny together to heighten queer voic and talk about their dreams, sir, triumphs and failur. The event, based around the theme of ‘inty’, was an electrifyg space where raw talent and eedom of exprsn me together to display their distctivens a way that was accsible and enjoyable to a untry that, until very recently, lived unr the dark clouds of crimalisg gay sex through Sectn 377, this rabow of voic, opns and anecdot was a pneerg force that kept the LGBTQIA nversatn ee-flowg.

Gaysi really helped me bee my first ever terview on what means to be a genr fluid person was wh them June last year, which helped a lot of people unrstand me better and got a posive rponse. But, wh the help of Gaysi and NGOs like Humsafar, I have been able to hold on to my inty. I found Gaysi when I moved om Goa to Mumbai about 10 years ago.
While books like Face In The Mirror helped me before I did somethg physil wh someone, I liked that Gaysi ntent was so si that helped me nnect to better. When I me back to India June and started talkg about wh my iends and volunteerg for Gaysi around September, I had one of those ‘aha’ moments and realised I was bi-cur.
